Analysis of the stress and deformation states in the vertical flat-jack test

Performing a realistic assessment of unreinforced masonry structures involves designing and executing appropriate experimental tests on components for determining the material model parameters to be used in structural analysis. Considering recent developments which inverse analysis was as calibration framework, vertical flat-jack test is investigated this paper. Two simplified models are described stress state due pressure transferred by flat-jack. Furthermore, with aim sensor setup test, POD deformation structure carried out, highlighting basic modes govern response.
